RAGSTOCK
My position at Ragstock, a national new + vintage clothing retailer based in Minneapolis, is the Lead Graphic Designer. My role is to communicate Ragstock’s branding & messaging throughout the marketing and visual materials.
At Ragstock I wear many hats. This includes email design & marketing, social media design, all store signage, and more. Working with a small team, Ragstock’s visual identity and marketing campaigns are brought to life to increase Ragstock’s customer-base and to build the brand as a whole.
EMAIL DESIGN + MARKETING
Email marketing is an important aspect of Ragstock’s means for retaining customers and keeping them informed and interested in the brand. Throughout my time, I have designed and sent out 4-5 emails per week.
My position requires not only the visual aspect of emails, but also the marketing aspect. I have tested and researched email segmentation, subject line & copywriting, and A+B testing for send times. All to ensure Ragstock’s emails are reaching the optimum amount of opens and clicks.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Coordinating with the Social Media Manager, I create content for socials at least 1-2 times per week. These posts are usually for upcoming sales and promotions or whatever other content is requested. I also periodically assist with content management–scheduling, captioning, and setting up analytics.
STORES
Because Ragstock has 40 store locations, store signage and other store-related collateral is important to keep up with seasonal changes & brand consistency. I designed all seasonal window signs, promotional sale materials, flyers for both online & in-store, and various other one-off projects.
In addition to design, I am also in-charge of ordering all materials. This includes sourcing printing companies & vendors, creating industry standard files, obtaining quotes, and working with companies & the Ragstock stores throughout the printing and installation processes.
